•   Graduate of COTC, Associates Degree in Criminal Justice Technology
• Graduate of Mountain State University, Bachelor of Science in Police Administration
• 32 years experience with the Licking County Sheriff's Office
• 2010 - 2011 Inductee into the Lakewood Wall of Fame

•       Organized and was commander of the Central Ohio Drug Task Force
•        Served 7 years as Chief Deputy, Second in Command
• Elected as YOUR Licking County Sheriff in 2004, 2008, and 2012.
• Awarded the Medal of Honor by the Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association and the Governor of Ohio
•  Awarded the Fraternal Order of Police Medal of Valor
• Currently President of the Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association 
• Past President of the Licking County Chief’s of Police and Law Enforcement Administrators Association
• Serves on the Legislative Committee of both the Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association and the National Sheriff’s           Association
